Organized Industrial Zone Comprehensive Risk: Service Entrance and Rim Damage
Service entrances in the Organized Industrial Zone create damage when a vehicle leaves the road flow and enters a workshop, depot or repair area. The movement is slow, but the turning angle can bring the wheel close to a concrete edge, low kerb or rough surface.
The risk comes from the short decision distance. A driver may be watching a vehicle exiting the service area, a parked van near the entrance or a worker moving near the gate. In that moment, the front wheel and lower bumper can come too close to the entrance edge.
A concrete scenario can happen around 15:20. A car turns into a service entrance inside the Organized Industrial Zone. A van exits at the same time, so the driver takes a tighter line. The front-right rim touches the concrete edge. The tyre sidewall is marked, and the lower bumper receives a light scrape.
This pattern becomes stronger in the afternoon, when service activity and short workshop visits increase. The entrance is not a normal road. It is a mixed space for parking, turning, waiting and access.
In service-entrance incidents, own damage usually involves the rim, tyre, lower bumper, side sill, lower trim and paint surface. If another vehicle, person or third-party property is involved, traffic insurance and liability must be separated from the comprehensive assessment. For online policy transactions, the policy start time must clearly precede the incident time.
